About Us

Crystal Clear Roms is the name of the team that produces the Sapphire Rom for the Motorola Droid. Originally, it was started as a concept by Austen Dicken(cvpcs). While learning and researching the Android operating system, he hit several roadblocks when dealing with the build, so cvpcs recruited Todd Swindoll(sniffle), as he had written a basic guide for setting up the development environment for building Android, and Evan Milligan(Mayh3m), as a tester. With the Sapphire rom growing daily and more people flocking to our cause and philosophy of features with finesse, and with the plan to expand to other mobile devices, the current team is feeling a bit overwhelmed. So we have recruited Bgill(Brian Gill, formerly of Team Chaos) to the team to help with the themes.

Sapphire has become a huge success, thanks to word of mouth and an AWESOME fanbase! We hope to release Ruby for the HTC Incredible soon and hope to have just as much success!
